Success in Youth Ministry
Ha sido un placer para los jóvenes y familias de San Dismas el contar con el apoyo profesional de Advocate health Good Shepherd Hospital. Durante los meses anteriores ellos nos han ofrecido la oportunidad de escuchar las presentaciones de profesionales de la salud en diferentes áreas.
(It has been a pleasure for the youth and families of San Dismas to have the professional support of Advocate health Good Shepherd Hospital. During the previous months they have offered us the opportunity to listen to the presentations of health professionals in different areas).
Particularmente yo estoy muy agradecida, pues los muchachos han aprendido más y de esta manera están más conscientes de los peligros que encierran muchas situaciones que lamentablemente les rodean. Se han tocado temas como Substance Abuse, Self-infliction, Internet Pornography, cooking class, Diabetes, Fitness and Success, welcome to the real world and some others as well!
(I am particularly grateful, as the youth have learned to be more aware of the dangers that, sadly, are many situations that they face in their everyday lives. Topics featured this year were, Substance Abuse, Self-infliction, Internet Pornography, Nutrition based cooking classes, Diabetes, Fitness and Success: Welcome to the real world, and more!)
